Repronex 75IU HP, human menopausal gonadotropin (hMG) is utilized to induce the production of eggs/follicle in women who are not able to produce eggs for certain functional reasons except primary ovarian failure. Each vial of the Repronex is composed of 150 IU or 75 IU of follicle stimulating hormone, and 150 IU or 75IU of luteinizing hormone respectively, in addition to 20 mg lactose monohydrate in sterile form. This medicine is administered by intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. A naturally occurring hormone in the post-menopausal urine, hCG (human chorionic Gonadotropin) is also detected in this medication.
How Repronex 75IU HP works?
Repronex 75IU HP works by increasing maturation of the eggs in ovaries. It must be used for 7 to 12 days along with human chorionic gonadotropin for successful egg release. This kind of fertility treatment can be used to collect eggs for IVF therapies or to improve the chances of pregnancy during intrauterine insemination procedures.
